THE JENEX CORPORATION ISSUES PROGRESS REPORT FOR COLD SORE PREVENTION PRODUCT

THE JENEX CORPORATION (“Jenex” or the “Corporation”) (TSX Venture Exchange – JEN), is scheduled to begin manufacturing interceptCS™ , the first product proven and approved to prevent cold sores, and ship their initial order for international distribution by November 1st, 2005.
The Canadian retail launch is now scheduled for early first quarter, 2006. Michael Jenkins, President and CEO says, “We are delighted to have reached the commercialization stage for interceptCS . It is estimated, there are between 5 and 10 million recurrent cold sore sufferers in Canada. interceptCS has the potential to be a leader in this large and underdeveloped category.”
