COLD SORE PREVENTION PRODUCT TO BE LAUNCHED WITH

 SHOPPERS DRUG MART

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 5, 2004

Burlington, Ontario

THE JENEX CORPORATION (“Jenex” or the “Corporation”) (TSX Venture Exchange – JEN), Michael Jenkins, President and CEO of Jenex reports Shoppers Drug Mart has agreed to be our exclusive partner for the launch of interceptCS (the first product proven and approved to prevent cold sores). interceptCS will be distributed exclusively for a predetermined period of time at Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores across Canada.

Mr. Jenkins states,” we are pleased to have Shoppers Drug Mart as our exclusive partner for the launch of  interceptCS .  The interceptCS medical device has been clinically proven safe and effective and will be available over-the-counter, allowing easy access to the product without a prescription. This is a significant milestone in the further commercialization of our patented technology.”

Jenex is scheduled to launch interceptCS with Shoppers Drug Mart in the first quarter of 2005. In Canada there are between 5 and 10 million recurrent cold sore sufferers.  Being the only product on the market proven to prevent cold sores, interceptCS expects to capture a significant share of this large and underdeveloped category.

Shoppers Drug Mart is one of the most recognized and trusted names in Canadian retailing. The Company is the licensor of full-service retail drug stores operating under the name Shoppers Drug Mart (Pharmaprix in Quebec). With 878 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores operating in prime locations in every province and two territories, the Company is one of the most convenient retailers in Canada. The Company also owns and operates 48 Shoppers Home Health Care stores, making it the largest Canadian retailer of home health care products and services.
