THE JENEX CORPORATION (“Jenex” or the “Corporation”) (TSX Venture Exchange – JEN), Michael Jenkins, President and CEO of Jenex reports Shoppers Drug Mart has agreed to be our exclusive partner for the launch of interceptCS (the first product proven and approved to prevent cold sores). interceptCS will be distributed exclusively for a predetermined period of time at Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores across Canada.

The interceptCS medical device has been clinically proven safe and effective and will be available over-the-counter, allowing easy access to the product without a prescription. This is a significant milestone in the further commercialization of our patented technology.”
Jenex is scheduled to launch interceptCS with Shoppers Drug Mart in the first quarter of 2005. In Canada there are between 5 and 10 million recurrent cold sore sufferers. Being the only product on the market proven to prevent cold sores, interceptCS expects to capture a significant share of this large and underdeveloped category.
