THE JENEX CORPORATION ISSUES PROGRESS REPORT

THE JENEX CORPORATION ISSUES PROGRESS REPORT

February 19, 2007

Burlington, Ontario

THE JENEX CORPORATION (“Jenex” or the “Corporation”) (TSX Venture Exchange – JEN,  Frankfurt - JNX), is pleased to offer the following update on the interceptCS® Cold Sore Prevention System and Therapik®, for insect stings & bites.

The interceptCS Cold Sore Prevention System was launched in the Spring of 2006 in Canada. Sales of the interceptCS® System during the launch period were strong while being supported by the national advertising campaign. Since the launch period, interceptCS® system sales have been supported primarily through word of mouth and national retail flyers. Additionally, Treatment Activator sales in correlation to System sales have exceeded forecasts, which further supports product efficacy and consumer acceptance.  Consumers who have purchased the System have used the two Treatment Activators included and, satisfied with the results, are returning to purchase more Treatment Activators to prevent their next outbreak.

Other important indicators of consumer acceptance include the numerous testimonials (some of which can be viewed at www.interceptCS.com) and the limited number of product complaints and returns. All indicators point to consumer product acceptance, product efficacy and repeat customers, due to wide spread customer satisfaction. The interceptCS® Cold Sore Prevention System requires sustained consumer advertising and awareness programs to inform cold sore sufferers about the preventative benefits of interceptCS. There are a number of promotional events confirmed for 2007 in the Canadian market.  Additional capital will be required to commit to increased consumer spending and professional “inform and educate” initiatives.  Management continues to evaluate and pursue discussions with potential licensees and marketing partners as we expand our commercialization efforts for the interceptCS® Cold Sore Prevention System around the world.

Therapik®, indicated for the relief of pain, itch and inflammation caused by more than 20,000 different insect stings and bites (including stings caused by jellyfish), is positioned to contribute to the Corporation’s top and bottom line performance. Therapik® has been cleared to market with approved claims in Canada (Health Canada), Europe (CE) and the USA (FDA). As reported in a previous update, the Corporation dissolved a relationship with a Korean manufacturer and established new manufacturing in China. The new manufacturing processes are now in place and will establish the Corporation as a low cost, quality manufacturer of their Therapik® device. We have experienced favourable results from product marketing trials in the USA and Europe in the past year and expect to enter into marketing/licensee agreements in some or all of these markets in 2007.
