THE JENEX CORPORATION (“Jenex” or the “Corporation”) (TSX Venture Exchange – JEN). On June 15, 2004 Jenex announced an exclusive multi-year licensing agreement for Therapik® with a Korean company that was facilitated through a licensing partner agreement announced May 17, 2004. The agreement allowed for exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights for Therapik® in 22 Asian countries. For reasons of non-performance, this agreement has been dissolved.
The licensing partner agreement announced May 17, 2004 will be replaced with a new agreement with the same party. The parties have agreed to the terms of the new agreement and documentation should be finalized in June. Michael Jenkins, President and CEO says, “The new agreement provides the Corporation the ability to be a quality, lower cost manufacturer and aggressively pursue Asian and other world markets with our Therapik brand. We expect to launch Therapik in China in the near term”.
Final details of the partner agreement and the Chinese market launch will be announced upon the agreement being executed in June.
